Interview With My Interview Paper - 929 Words
For my interview paper, I decided to talk to my neighbor Rebecca Schwartz, who I have known for 14 years. I decided to interview her because she was an early education teacher for infants and toddlers and has experience working with an entire classroom of students with disabilities as well as experience working with a classroom with only one student with a disability. I wanted to gain insight on her experiences teaching a classroom with only one student with a disability, while the remaining classroom was non-disabled students. I would like to talk about Tyler, a deaf student with Down syndrome, and Rebeccaââ¬â¢s experience working with him. When I first sat down with Rebecca to ask her a few questions, she seemed super excited, wanting to tell me all her stories and experiences working with Tyler. The first thing she shared with me was how much she loved working as a teacher, stating ââ¬Å"my favorite part working as a teacher for infants and toddlers were all the hugs and kisse s I received from the children. They all showed me so much affection, always running to me when they would come into the classroom first thing in the morning.â⬠She has always wanted to work with children ever since she could remember. She considers teaching as her passion.
